This policy explains what Bespoke Registrations Ltd does with the personal information you give us through this website, and the rights you have over it. We have kept it short and in plain English.

What we collect

The website has two forms. Both collect only what we need to reply to you:

• Registration enquiry — your name, your email address or phone number, your message, and the registration you are asking about.
• Sourcing request — your name, your email address or phone number, and a description of the registration you are looking for.

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we hold whatever you choose to send us. WhatsApp is provided by Meta and is subject to its own privacy terms.

The website does not use cookies or analytics, and does not track you across other sites. Each form includes a hidden field that helps us filter out automated spam; it collects nothing from people.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• To answer your enquiry and discuss the registration you asked about or are looking for — this is in our legitimate interests as a business, and is a step you have asked us to take before any purchase.
• To keep a record of enquiries and any subsequent transaction, so we can deal with follow-up questions and meet our accounting and legal obligations.

We do not sell your information or use it for third-party marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. Records relating to a completed transaction are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law — normally at least six years where required.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Resend — delivers form submissions to our inbox by email.
• Our website hosting provider — serves this site and processes the form submission on the way to us.
• Our email provider — where your enquiry is received and stored.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

Separately, where you go ahead with a purchase or sale, relevant information may be shared with the DVLA where necessary to complete the registration transfer. We may also share information where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is inaccurate;
• delete it, where we no longer need it;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• provide it in a portable format.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, or 0303 123 1113.
